BODY
We focus on holistic development of our 3 year olds by incorporating a diverse range of activities that nurture children's physical and cognitive growth. Through age-appropriate games, exercises, and creative play, we foster motor skills, spatial awareness, and teamwork, laying a strong foundation for their overall well-being

Work towards improvement in coordination and large muscle skills

MIND
We prioritize cognitive development by offering engaging activities that stimulate young minds. Nurturing Young Minds: Our Preschool 4's Program
BODY
We prioritize the physical development of our 4 year old preschoolers by offering a dynamic range of activities. Through play, exercise, and age-appropriate games, we help children develop essential motor skills, coordination, and physical fitness, ensuring they have a strong foundation for a healthy and active lifestyle
HOW?
Learn to Run, jump, kick, throw and catch a ball ;swing independently
Use small muscles to cut defined shapes and begin writing
Creative movement
Learn to care for physical and dental health

MIND
To develop the minds of our 4 year old preschoolers, a holistic approach that encompasses their cognitive, social, and emotional development is essential. Preschoolers at this age are curious and eager to learn, so creating a stimulating environment is crucial. Activities are play-based, encouraging exploration, creativity, and problem-solving.
HOW?
Focus for longer periods of time and contribute to class discussion
Recognize and begin to draw shapes; math skills of patterning, sequencing, sorting, comparing, recognizing numerals; recognize alphabet letters and sounds, identify rhyming words
Grow more confident in asking questions and problem solving
Enjoy different types of music and begin to identify instruments
Learn to recognize sequence in a book, make predictions about characters or situations and become familiar with the use of print
SPIRIT

Preschool Enrollment | 2023-2024
Preschool Application fee (non-refundable) $55.00
Registration fee (non-refundable): $400
Preschool follows a traditional school calendar, August - June. Tuition does not include no-school days or Summer Camp
Preschool payments are made over the 10 month school year: September - June
Hot lunch is included for preschool students who are registered for our 5 full day program
Wednesday attendance is a required day if you are participating in our part-time program
We require a 30 day notice for all schedule changes
Students must be able to independently use the restroom
Admission to Pilgrim Lutheran Christian School's Preschool Program is ongoing. Information concerning registration, current waiting lists (when applicable) and openings can be obtained by contacting us. Tours are given by appointment only.
