Welcome to our elementary grades! We are excited that you are interested in our program, and we look forward to getting to know you and your child, fostering their talents, and supporting their educational growth areas. All this is done in fulfilling our mission to develop the whole child—body, mind, and spirit. Your child will be enriched through our music, art, and physical education programs. If they are showing interest in sports, starting in 3rd grade, students can join our soccer or basketball teams. Because music benefits numerous other aspects of learning, they will also participate in the Christmas music program as well as a biennial spring musical program.
Our goal is to provide the right amount of academic challenge for your child, nurture their faith development, and provide opportunities to serve others. Our dedicated staff members come to school every day inspired to help your child grow further into who God has designed them to be. In addition to weekly library class, Pilgrim uses Accelerated Reader as an incredible tool for your child's reading journey! It offers a tailored selection of books suited perfectly to your child's reading level, ensuring they're always challenged and engaged. Not only does it foster a love for reading, but it also nurtures critical thinking skills, empowering your child to become a confident and proficient reader.
Enrichment Opportunities
At Pilgrim, our elementary students are immersed in a vibrant array of enrichment experiences. Through our Fine Arts Program, they explore their creative side, honing skills in music, visual arts, and performance. Engaging class field trips and theater outings broaden their horizons, fostering a deeper appreciation for culture and creativity.
