Join our team at Pilgrim Lutheran Christian School (PLCS) where teachers play an integral role in our ministry. As part of a collaborative team led by the principal and pastor(s), teachers work towards a common purpose for Christ. Qualifications include a degree in education, a teaching license (or in-progress certification in Oregon), and completion of a background check. Previous classroom experience and LCMS training are preferred. 

In the classroom, teachers are responsible for creating and executing lesson plans aligned with curriculum and state standards, as well as assessing student progress and communicating with parents. They also maintain classroom discipline in line with the school's mission. Spiritually, teachers are expected to teach the Word of God faithfully, model Christian faith, and demonstrate respect for the church's missions and ministries.

Our support staff also drive our ministry, working in collaboration with teachers and administration to serve our students in a Christ-centered environment where they can grow and thrive, knowing they are valued and loved.  Qualifications vary depending on position.  Check our current openings below and click on postings for specific position information and to apply.
